Is there anything more comforting on a bitterly cold day than a warm delicious drink? I’m far from winter’s biggest fan, but one thing I do love about it is snuggling down into my favorite chair under my favorite blanket, one hand holding a favorite book and the other wrapped around a steaming mug filled with one my favorite hot drinks.

Hot Drink Tools
Check out these handy tools to make your favorite tasty hot drinks at home:
Coffee Maker — This is the coffee maker we have, and we LOVE it.
Espresso Machine — Not a must-have by any means, but it sure would be nice if you love espresso drinks!
Moka Pot Stovetop Espresso Maker — These are great for brewing strong coffee (and they totally bring me back to the semester I studied abroad in Spain!)
Coffee Warmer — Tired of coming back to cold coffee because you had to attend to 56 needs, take a potty-training child to the bathroom, and referee a handful of sibling squabbles? #momlife You need a coffee warmer! These are great for keeping your coffee warm for hours so you can sip it at your leisure. (Because who wants to have to chug their coffee??)
My Favorite Hot Drink Products
Here are some of my favorite brands of hot drink products:
Coffee: Verena Street
Our favorite everday blend is the Mississippi Grogg, but we just recently discovered the seasonal Stocking Stuffer, and it’s SO GOOD.
Tea: Stash Tea
I’m a very recent tea drinker (though I haven’t given up my beloved coffee just yet), and there are still a lot of teas I’m not fond of. But I LOVE Stash Tea. I’ve liked almost everything I’ve tried (with the exception of the Red Dragon Red Chai and Ginger Fire Chai – those were a big “No, thank you.”), but here are some of my favorites:
- Chai Spice (I get the decaf)
- Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut
- Cinnamon Vanilla
- Decaf Vanilla Chai
- Chocolate Mint Oolong
- Peppermint
Other: Crio Bru Brewed Cacao
This hot drink brews like coffee, but with the benefits of cacao. It’s 100% unsweetened, so if you’re expecting hot chocolate, you’re in for a (rather disappointing) surprise! But you can sweeten it with your favorite sweetener/creamer to turn it into a delectable treat, if you prefer. I like a little real maple syrup in mine.
